Registration of death 

A death must be registered by law in the district in which it has occurred. An appointment system is operated at the registrar's offices throughout Kent.

What next?
The registrar will issue a green certificate* which will be required by our office for either cremation or burial. Our staff will be happy to offer advice and all the necessary information prior to registration.
*In the event of a death being referred to a coroner the certification procedure will be different.
